Life Coach

What is a mentor? The word can be traced back to Homer's Odyssey as the name of a character who gave advice. It is now commonly used to describe an experienced person who advises a less experienced colleague. The novice is often referred to as a protégé and sometimes a mentee. A mentor possesses the wisdom only experience can provide, while the protégé is someone who is in the early stages of his or her ministry/career. The protégé seems to reap the benefits of this relationship. The protégé receives guidance and helpful advice and invitations to industry events and introductions to higher-ups may be forthcoming. A mentor is that one person who can guide you, help you, take you under his or her wing, and nurture your ministry/personal quest. What separates a mentor from the average network contact is long-term commitment and a deep-seated investment in your future.

Life Coaching is the process of assisting a person to make positive changes in one or more areas of their life over a period of time. Coaching helps you to uncover what you really want in life and then provides a supportive environment to have you achieve your dreams. We know that each of us is an average of our environment. We have the average finances of our 5 closest friends. Relationships and health are also the average. When our coaches become a part of your environment, your average quickly increases. We’ve seen many change dramatically to know that everything is possible. "Our belief in you is rock solid, even if your belief in you is not."

In the ideal life we have time to visit those services that can assist us, however many people do not have direct access to a Life Coach as they live in remote places or cannot spare the time to travel to see one. That is why the Elite Community Resource Center, Inc. is bringing life coaching to you via Skype or your Phone. We believe that everybody should have access to services and professionals that will assist in gaining more awareness and empowerment.
